Why is this site so empty?
Because it's new. I'll keep adding items to each of the pages as they become available. Eventually the movie review page should hold about thirty movies, with older ones being gradually displaced by the new. Also, new sections will be added to the site as practical. -- N-M
Have you read the book "Web Pages That Suck"? A lot of it applies to your website.
Actually, I own a copy. But because I know the rules, it makes it perfectly okay when I break them : ) And while I reserve the right to include all kinds of pointless .gif animations and JavaScripts in the future, I swear there will be no animated fire, spinning globes, or those infernal "under construction" signs. And I will never, ever, pollute this site with wallpaper. -- N-M
You seem to take things too seriously. When's the last time you had a really good laugh?
I almost split my sides when Jack slipped beneath the waves at the end of Titanic. -- N-M
You obviously have too much time on your hands. The 50 Greatest Athletes was done by ESPN not ESPN2. HELENA Bonham Carter was in "Fight Club". By the way, what was the unforgettable shot at the end of that movie? I must have forgotten it.
Thank you for bringing the error in Ms. Carter's name to my attention. I've corrected it in my review, and I'll apologize next time I see her. Regarding ESPN vs. ESPN2, the program I saw was on ESPN2. But differentiating between the two is a lot like differentiating between cow and horse manure - who cares what the difference is, you just don't want to step in either. -- N-M
Why isn't [insert name of movie here] reviewed on your site?
I don't get the chance to see every film made. Limited time and money (I pay the full admission price for every movie I attend) make sure of that, even if I had aspirations to the contrary. Often, I get around to viewing all the major films playing at the time, with the occasional art-house offering thrown in. The current period is a little unusual in that I had no desire to see several of the major studio releases. I don't see the point in going to a movie I'm pretty sure I won't like just to give it a bad review. I like to think of this site as being similar to the corner video rental store - you're less likely to be disappointed if you go there to see what's in stock rather than with a specific title in mind. -- N-M
